Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower was built to celebrate the 1900 World’s Fair in Paris. The engineer Gustave Eiffel designed the tower and when it was completed, he used the top floor as his personal office.

Today you can see him in there with Edison discussing, oh I dunno, electricity. I think Edison is lording the light bulb over Eiffel. And Edison is telling him how in the year 2000, the tower will be covered with 20,000 little electric lights that will sparkle for ten minutes at the beginning of every hour during the evening. And Eiffel is saying ‘nah-uh’. And Edison won, cuz it’s true. I know, Edison rules.
