Rue Mouffetard

This street is jammed with wine shops, cheese shops, clothing stores, cafés, restaurants, brasseries and bars. It culminates at the gorgeous Place de Contrescarpe. This is the quintessential Parisian square. It is excellent for people watching and drinking in sun.

I once walked around the tiny square for fifteen minutes trying to figure out where to eat, I couldn’t figure out which restaurant was frenchier. I settled at one that was pretty french, but it’s up to you to decide which is the frenchiest.
